Blood Spatter The trainees discover how the shape and position of blood spatters can reveal a great deal about a crime. Different markings can be traced back to specific types of injury and the weapons used to inflict them, and can even provide clues as to the order of a sequence of events. The students then take to the firing range to shoot at a piece of liver to see how spatters are created by gunshots, before undertaking their final challenge - discovering what happened in a room that has been liberally decorated with cow's blood to simulate a crime scene.
