I have a 18v DeWalt and it's the best thing I ever bought, it will put up
holes in your brick walls all day long!!!! Saws similar. You get what you
pay for, some cheap 24v with 3 year warrantee on market now, got to be worth
a go.

Ditto ... I still have no electricity to the shop due to holdups on the
house construction and have been using the DeWalt XRP 18v drill and circular
saw (bought the "kit" a few months back) on a daily basis for building shop
cabinets/shelves etc. Been topping the batteries off nightly and running the
overnight conditioning cycle once a week ... a number of 10 hour days of
hard usage on both tools have yet to run the batteries down, or interfere
with their operation.
